It’s kind of the holy grail to be able to design and build simultaneously and have things just be ready for production.

I think Figma etc is in no danger of that happenning for UX designers, and if they were trying to work in a web building tool they might prefer Wix over the WP block interface. However for those of us who both handle design and then build with something like Kadence, there are definitely going to be cases where going straight to WP makes sense.
